Hello, CCC NYC friends and family! We have another weekly cupping update for y’all, so get out those Outlook-syncing Blackberry calendars…
This Friday at noon at Everyman Espresso (146 E 13th St between Third and Fourth Aves. Subway: L to Third Ave; L, N, Q, R, Q, 4, 5, 6 to 14th St - Union Sq) we will be sniffing and slurping a round of three beautiful coffees and sharing our results with the world! Or, well, at least with each other.
Later that same evening, join us for Friday Night Flights at 6pm at Roots & Vines (409 Grand St at Clinton St. Subway: F to Delancey St; J, M, Z to Delancey - Essex Sts). This week’s theme is all about palate development and building a cupping vocabulary: We’ll be smelling and tasting a host of ground spices that often get mentioned in coffees’ cupping notes. I have to admit, I’m a real sucker for cinnamon…
